ABOUT OUR PROJECT

A few years ago we expanded our preschool program from one class with a capacity of 24 students to three classes with a capacity of 66 students.  Since the expansion of our program, parents and staff have expressed a tremendous need for a new Preschool Playground to ensure the safety and security of our 3 and 4-year old students. 

Before the expansion of the program, the kindergarten and preschool students both made use of our playground.  As the kindergarteners are no longer using this space, one part of our playground is not able to be utilized by our younger students as it is meant for older children.  The current small rock foundation of the entire playground has caused many safety issues which is a immense cause of concern.

Making these changes along with other modifications would be helpful to get us outside at different climates and weather, being able to use an entire space, and remove the footing that has caused many safety issues is something we would all greatly benefit from. 

We estimate it will cost approximately $100,000 to build a new preschool playground.  We are raising funds to help us make this possible. The PTO is committed to help support this project with some upcoming events. Your generous contribution, no matter the size, will bring us one step closer to our goal and will directly impact the construction of the new playground and provide a safe place for our youngest students to run and play.
